On 01 September, 2008, the first school class has begun in the first integrated bilingual school in Macedonia, named after the famous Nobel Prize Winner for Peace, “Fridtjof Nansen”, located in the village Preljubiste, Jegunovce Municipality. The first day of the school year in this school has been attended by the parents of the students, the Mayor of Jegunovce Municipality, Toni Koceski, the Director of COU Semsovo and the Director of the Nansen Network on the Balkans, Prof. Steinar Bryn, representatives of the Bureau for development of the education from Tetovo, as well as representatives of NDC Skopje.

Although the school has been in its final phase of reconstruction, conditions have been created for beginning of the regular curriculum and the informal activities.

The parents had a possibility to take a tour of the school and to see the conditions in which their children will study in the future.
